Eva Lewisch

Eva Lewisch is a senior lecturer at the Clinical Division for Fish Health at the Veterinary University of Vienna. She is a veterinarian and nationally certified Fish Medicine Specialist and has been awarded de facto recognition as a European Specialist in Aquatic Animal Health (Dipl. ECAAH). Her habilitation thesis covers various aspects of parasites of aquatic animals. She is the responsible veterinarian for diagnostics and treatment of farmed and ornamental fish in the clinic’s daily practice and gives lectures for the students. She is a presenter at national and international conferences and is publishing in national and international journals on current topics relating to aquatic animal diseases. Among these, a special focus of her work is on parasitic diseases.
